Die Katze ist aus dem Sack. Seit Monaten hat man über den Namen des Kodak Zi8 Nachfolgers gerätselt. Auch bei unserem Interview mit dem CMO Jeffrey Hayzlett im September war ihm der Name nicht zu entlocken.
Heute auf der CES in Las Vegas war es dann so weit: Playsport heißt das gute Stück!
Technisch ist die Playsport identisch zu der Zi8 – die inneren Werte sozusagen – von Außen ist sie komplett erneuert. Wasserdicht bis zu 3 Metern, dazu ein stoßfestes Gehäuse und das alles in 4 neuen Farben. Somit ist die Playsport die erste Outdoor Cam die bezahlbar ist. Apropro zum Preis: Beim Verkaufsstart im April wird sie für unter 150 Dollar zu haben sein und liegt damit deutlich unter dem Preis der Zi8.
Christian und ich sind ja schon am knobeln wer denn zuerst mit der Playsport tauchen geht … ich glaube ich werde da wohl passen. Wir hoffen in den nächsten Wochen auf eine Testsendung (laut Kodak DE stehen wir ganz oben auf der Liste) und werden für Euch die Playsport natürlich ausführlich testen.
